Hey everyone, I recently came across a mobile finance app called Square One-it claims to help users build better budgeting habits from scratch, especially for people who feel overwhelmed by traditional finance tools.

Has anyone here actually used it?

How does it compare to apps like Mint or YNAB?

Is it beginner-friendly or more geared toward advanced users?

Any standout features or drawbacks I should know about?

Would love to hear your honest experiences before I dive in. Thanks in advance!

SquareOne is a beginner-friendly finance app designed primarily for kids and teens, focusing on building budgeting and money-managementh abits from scratch. It offers features like chore-based earnings, automated pocket money, savings goals, and a prepaid Mastercard with parental controls, making it very hands-on and educational. Compared to Mint or YNAB, it's much simpler and more engaging for younger users, though it lacks the depth those adult-focused apps provide. Some users have reported occasional card declines or concerns about fees, but overall it seems effective for teaching financial literacy in a controlled, modern way.

I've heard a bit about SquareOne and it seems to focus on simplifying budgeting, especially for beginners who find apps like Mint or YNAB too complicated. From what I've seen, it helps you build habits gradually rather than throwin gall your finances at you at once, which makes it less intimidating. The interface looks really clean and easy to navigate, though it might feel too basic if you're used to detailed tracking or customization. Overall, it seems like a good starting point if you want a stress-free way to get into budgeting.

From what Ive seen, Square One is more beginner/education-focused than a full budgeting tool. Good if you feel overwhelmed and want to build habits from scratch, but its lighter than Mint or YNAB. Mint tracks everything automatically, YNAB is more hands-on. Square Ones simpler, but not as powerful for day-to-day budgeting.
