i'm looking for a reliable bill-splitting and expense-tracking app to use for group trips, splitting bills with roommates, or any shared group costs. i recently came across the tricount app, which claims to make tracking and settling group expenses very easy.
for those of you who have used tricount, could you please share your experiences?
how user-friendly is the app? do you find it better than alternatives like splitwise or other popular options?
are the key features truly effective? speicfically, is the 'who owes whom' calculation clear and easy to settle?
are there any hidden issues or drawbacks? (e.g., problems with offline use, currency conversion, or data synchronization?)

Ive used Tricount a bunch of times for trips, and honestly its pretty solid for simple group expenses. Super easy to set up, everyone can just join with a link, and the who owes who part is nice and clean. Great for vacations, weekends away, dinners, that kind of thing.
